The current parking area at Erica Escape will be extended on the left to accommodate parking for two additional cars. In addition, the nature strip at the front of the property offers further informal parking options, with free street parking also available. The property is located on a school road with a separate access lane off the main road, ensuring easy access and flexible parking arrangements for guests.
This extended driveway area will also function as a lane-style access for Erica Express guests. It can provide sheltered storage for the wood pile during winter and, when both properties are rented together, allows guests to manage parking independently across the available spaces.

Erica Express – 2022, before the fern planting and landscaping began. Even then, the vision for the future retreat was already taking shape, with plans to create a peaceful couples escape surrounded by nature and mountain views.

Designed as a peaceful couples retreat, Erica Express focuses on comfort, relaxation, and a quiet atmosphere, helping keep noise and disturbance to a minimum for all guests on the property. The retreat includes an open living area, cosy fireplace, separate queen bedroom, and private bathroom. A future private deck is also planned, positioned to face down the valley and take full advantage of the surrounding landscape and mountain scenery.
sad version now
Getting there slowly but surely. Building this on your own is not always easy. There are moments where progress feels slow and the weight of responsibility is heavy, especially when you’re managing every detail yourself. Life can be challenging in this process, but step by step, it’s coming together. Each stage completed is a reminder that persistence is what keeps it moving forward.
